by Vincent Bevins

A groundbreaking investigative history uncovering Washington's covert anti-communist crusade and the global network of mass extermination programs that shaped the modern geopolitical landscape.

The hidden blueprints of global state terror.

In 1965, the Indonesian military—backed by the United States government—orchestrated the mass slaughter of hundreds of thousands of unarmed civilians accused of being members of the Communist Party of Indonesia. This devastating operation became a silent model known as "Jakarta."

Through fearless on-the-ground reporting, archival research, and interviews with survivors across Latin America and Asia, Vincent Bevins tracks how this brutal blueprint was exported to support anti-communist purges, military dictatorships, and state violence worldwide.

Atmospheric archival tones reflecting the hidden historical weight of Cold War operations.

“

A vital, eye-opening investigation that exposes the dark architecture of twentieth-century global politics.
